Marcus Theatres Celebrates 10th Loyalty Program Anniversary, Rewards Members with Free Popcorn
 
Marcus Theatres is commemorating the 10th anniversary of its Magical Movie Rewards (MMR) loyalty program, which boasts more than 6 million members. Members will receive free popcorn with their admission on Value Tuesdays to mark the occasion. MMR members represent nearly half of Marcus Theatres’ attendance, and they are engaged by offerings ranging from movies to sports events and concerts. 
 
“Marcus Magical Movie Rewards members have been a key to our continued success,” said Mark Gramz, the President of Marcus Theatres. “They’re excited for this year’s summer blockbuster season, which is exhilarating and has something for everyone, ranging from must-see family movies to long-awaited sequels. As moviegoers grab family and friends and head to theaters, we’re excited to make their time with us even more enjoyable by offering MMR members a free popcorn on Value Tuesdays.”
 
Magical Movie Rewards loyalty members enjoy numerous benefits, such as accumulating one point per dollar spent, with every 100 points translating to a $5 reward. They can also take advantage of reduced fees for film series passports and special admittance for events like the upcoming Inside Out 2 Funko Family Event, which takes place on June 15, 2024. Additional perks include early access to special events, exclusive offers, and personalized emails. Members also benefit from reduced admission fees of only $6, waived online convenience fees on Value Tuesdays, and ongoing convenience fee waivers after four yearly visits. The MMR loyalty program is free to join by visiting the Marcus Theatres’ website, using the app, or signing up in the theatre.

Insomnia Cookies Partners with ParTech, Launches New Loyalty Program
 
Insomnia Cookies announced on Instagram that it launched a new customer loyalty program called Insomnia Rewards to boost engagement and enhance customer experience across its network of more than 280 stores in the U.S. and Canada. Leveraging the PAR Punchh platform from ParTech, Inc., Insomnia Rewards was designed to facilitate stronger customer connections through increased web traffic to the brand’s website and mobile app while offering rewards to Insomnia Cookies’ loyal customer base.

Some benefits of the new loyalty program include 10 points earned for every dollar a member spends online or in-store on purchases such as cookies, ice cream, brownies, and more. Members will also receive exclusive discounts, freebies, and limited-time menu items throughout the year. Rewards can be redeemed after just one purchase, and the Insomnia Cookies Rewards Program is free to join. Customers simply have to download the Insomnia Cookies app, where they can also track their points progress, redeem awards, access offers, and reorder items from the menu.

Expedia TAAP Rewards Program Now Available for Canadian and Mexican Travel Advisors
 
Expedia’s Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP) has expanded its rewards program to Canada and Mexico. Initially launched in the U.S. in 2022, the program encourages travel advisors to use the Expedia TAAP platform by offering redeemable points for bookings. Participating travel advisors can exchange the accumulated points for gift cards from popular retailers like Amazon, Tim Hortons, and DoorDash. The program has gained significant traction in the U.S., with more than 38,000 travel advisors registered and 13,000 rewards redeemed to date.
 
“We are excited to expand the highly successful TAAP Rewards program to Canada and Mexico,” said Phoebe Bush, Director of Travel Agent Distribution, Americas, of Expedia TAAP. “This initiative allows us to recognize the valuable services travel advisors provide while offering them additional rewards for their dedication. Advisors can earn one reward point for every Canadian dollar or Mexican peso spent for each booking that qualifies.
