Best Buy Offers 1-Hour Delivery on DoorDash Marketplace

Best Buy has joined the DoorDash Marketplace, becoming the first national consumer electronics retailer to sell on the local commerce platform. Customers can now purchase merchandise from local Best Buy locations and have it delivered to their doorstep within an hour, on average.

Through December 5, DoorDash Marketplace is offering $15 off Best Buy orders of $55 or more using the coupon code BEST15. DashPass loyalty members will receive $25 off by entering the code BEST25. As part of their regular benefits, DoorPass members are eligible for free delivery on Bust Buy orders.

“This partnership provides consumers access to Best Buy’s diverse selection of specialty consumer electronics with the speed and convenience of DoorDash,” said Fuad Hannon, Vice President of New Verticals at DoorDash. “With the holiday season around the corner, this is a valuable occasion for consumers to shop for tech gifts for everyone on their list and experience the joy of shopping at Best Buy directly on the DoorDash app."

ASICS Partners with BlueConic on Personalization and Data Compliance

The athletic apparel maker ASICS has partnered with the customer data platform BlueConic to enhance the brand’s personalization efforts and data compliance.

ASIC said the company will engage BlueConic to unify and manage first-party customer data to develop a deeper understanding of customers’ interests, behaviors, and preferences. Personalization projects underway at ASIC are designed to support customer engagement and loyalty across channels. BlueConic will also manage customer data privacy and compliance for the brand.

“We chose BlueConic because of the flexibility and usability of the platform, along with their ability to support various use cases across brands and regions, from data cleanup and identity resolution to compliance and personalization,” said Melissa Reed, Senior Product Manager of Customer Data at ASICS.

Hyatt Adds Milestone Rewards to Loyalty Program for 2024

Hyatt Hotels has announced additional rewards for members of its World of Hyatt loyalty program starting January 1. The new Milestone Rewards begin after 20 qualifying nights and continue every 10 nights thereafter, up to 150 nights.

The latest Milestone Rewards include the opportunity to earn 2,000 bonus points on the member’s next stay. The Guest of Honor Award allows members to advance to the Globalist loyalty tier. Members who stay at a Miraval Resort can get their second night free. The top reward is a free night at the chain’s upper class of hotels and resorts.

“The new Milestone Rewards are rooted in what we heard from our members — we understood they wanted more rewards and more choice — so we are offering a wider array of options to craft their travel journey, care for their wellbeing and immerse themselves in the transformative experiences that World of Hyatt offers,” said Amy Weinberg, Senior Cice president, Brand, Loyalty and Data at Hyatt.
