Chipotle Releases Fan-Inspired Lemonade-Scented Candle

Chipotle recently introduced a limited-edition lemonade-scented candle to celebrate National Lemonade Day. In a tongue-in-cheek manner, the company designed the candle to look like a Chipotle water cup, in response to the many patrons who “accidentally” fill their water cups with lemonade.

The “Water” Cup Candle will be available for purchase on the Chipotle Goods online store while supplies last. Each purchase will include a unique promo code redeemable for a free lemonade at Chipotle. 

Walmart Reaches Video Streaming Deal with Paramount+
Walmart announced a partnership with Paramount to offer the entertainment company’s Paramount+ streaming service to subscribers of Walmart’s membership program. The agreement is in response to Walmart’s exploration to add a subscription video streaming service to compete with Amazon Prime membership.

The companies agreed to a 12-month exclusivity agreement and a two-year deal that would give Walmart+ members access to Paramount’s streaming service. The perk will be available starting in September.

Chick-fil-A Tests Express Drive-Thru Lanes for Mobile App Orders
Chick-fil-A is testing express drive-thru lanes at select stores. These new lanes will be for mobile orders only for customers who order ahead via the chain’s mobile app.

Jonathan Lassiter, senior integration leader on Chick-fil-A’s Service and Hospitality team, called the express drive-thru lane a “game changer” that streamlines the experience for digital customers. There are now nearly 50 million of those customers on the brand’s app, according to a spokesperson.
