DIYers can take advantage of a special loyalty program offered by Lowe’s that offers immediate savings on purchases while earning rewards toward future ones. Exclusive perks are delivered to members of the home improvement retailer’s new MyLowe’s Rewards. Shoppers using the MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card also save 5% on purchases (restrictions apply). The new rewards program is being rolled out in select areas with plans to expand across the U.S. by March 2024.
The MyLowe’s Rewards program consists of three tiers: Bronze Key, Silver Key, and Gold Key. Points earned per dollar spent increase at each level, and MyRewards Credit Card users enjoy a free upgrade to the Silver Key tier. Customers currently using the brand’s Advantage Credit Card will be transitioned to the new one.
In addition to earning points for purchases, all program members will receive free standard shipping (restrictions apply), free gifts, free workshops (i.e., Lowe’s DIY-U kids and garden), exclusive offers and early sales alerts, and a customized app experience.
“Lowe’s has been serving DIY customers for more than 100 years, and now we’re rewarding their longtime loyalty by offering even more value when then they shop with MyLowe’s Rewards,” says Marvin Ellison, Lowe’s chairman and CEO.
“We designed MyLowe’s Rewards based on our deep understanding of the DIY customer, particularly millennial homeowners with families. These customers are trying to make the most of their homes while also looking for experiences for their families. Benefits they want, like free gifts and kids’ workshops, are small ways we can thank our customers for choosing Lowe’s,” says Jen Wilson, Lowe’s senior vice president, enterprise brand and marketing.
