U.S. Commerce Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement
WASHINGTON D.C., October 26, 2009 - TransCard (www.transcard.com)-a leading provider of electronic payment and prepaid debit card solutions branded with MasterCard®, Discover®, STAR and PULSE associations-has been selected for the 2009 Best of Chattanooga Award in the Prepaid Financial Services category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).
The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
“It is an honor to receive recognition for the ongoing marketing efforts and accomplishments we strive to achieve day in and day out,” says Kiki Thompson, Director of Marketing at TransCard. “Our commitment to quality marketing is a guiding principal that allows us to increase brand awareness without compromising our brand integrity. This award lets us know we are successfully achieving this delicate balance.”
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USCA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.
“Marketing is becoming increasingly important as more and more companies fight to occupy the same, finite space,” says Jerry Uffner, TransCard’s President. “We are proud of the way our marketing department has carved out a niche for our company within prepaid-while at the same time strategically dispersing our name throughout larger markets. We are truly different than our competitors, and marketing is getting this message out. TransCard is quickly becoming a company that people are talking about.”
