Givenchy Beauty Unveils Roblox Makeover for Pride Month

Givenchy Beauty has transformed its Givenchy Beauty House on Roblox to celebrate Pride Month. The immersive experience now features rainbows, flags, and an interactive pop-up area highlighting wearable items designed by LGBTQ+ creators on the platform. The space, developed in collaboration with Like Fire and The Gang gaming studio, also includes a selfie area set against a rainbow drop, a makeup station, and weekly engagements.

Givenchy claims it is the first in its sector to honor Pride on Roblox and builds on its initiative for LGBTQ+ inclusivity. The revamped space aims to celebrate love, acceptance, and diversity with an atmosphere described as a “joyous Pride party.” Virtual items from LGBTQ+ designers will be showcased in the pop-up area, and a new virtual item inspired by Givenchy’s Voyou bag will be unveiled at the end of June.

Additional features of the Roblox experience include a redesigned dance floor with original music from Like Fire and the opportunity for players to try on various virtual items on a redesigned runway. The initiative also aligns with Givenchy and parent company LVMH’s commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ charities. Shoppers will also have a chance to win exclusive Pride UGC merchandise.

Allergan Aesthetics Launches “Refer a Friend” Loyalty Program Promotion

Allergan Aesthetics, a subsidiary of AbbVie, has introduced its “Refer a Friend” program, a feature within its loyalty rewards program, Allē. The offering will allow Allē members to refer friends and family to join the program, and both the referrer and the new member can enjoy savings on popular Allergan Aesthetics products and treatments, such as the BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM® fillers, CoolSculpting®, SKINVIVE by JUVÉDERM®, DiamondGlow®, and SkinMedica®

“When you are thinking about trying something new in aesthetics or in any market, you ask your friends and family for advice. Market research shows that 92% of consumers trust referrals from friends and family over other forms of advertising,” said Jasson Gilmore, Senior Vice President, U.S. Aesthetics. “And 86% of Allē Members report being extremely likely or very likely to recommend Allē to family and friends. Whether you are new to Allē, or you’ve been using it for a long time, we welcome you to Refer a Friend, and we reward you for your referral.”

Existing Allē members can engage in the Refer a Friend program by sharing a unique referral code with up to five new users. These new users will receive $50 off their first Allergan Aesthetics purchase or treatment upon creating an Allē account. For each successful referral, the referring member will earn $10, with up to $50 allowed during each offer period.

Scorpion Report Shows Consumers Demand Same-Day Responses from Businesses

According to Scorpion, a digital marketing and technology solutions provider for businesses, speed, transparency, and expedient resolutions are foremost in consumers’ minds. Insights from its report, The Scorpion Pulse, show shifting consumer expectations and industry trends in the legal and home services sectors. Moreover, advancements in technology, particularly generative AI, have led consumers to expect prompt, same-day responses and easier search and discovery processes from businesses.

Seventy-five percent of respondents said AI improves the search experience when trying to find a local business. The report also indicates that 70% of consumers prefer home services companies that offer multiple communication channels, including online chat, text messaging, and phone contact. Meanwhile, 66% of legal consumers expect a response to their inquiry within 24 hours, with certain areas like criminal defense showing even higher expectations for quick replies.

“Local businesses are facing significant challenges, including the rising cost of online advertising, increased competition, and economic conditions impacting consumer demand,” said Jamie Adams, Chief Revenue Officer at Scorpion. “This report gives businesses the insights they need to make informed marketing and advertising decisions, leverage new technology like AI to their advantage, and optimize their digital marketing campaigns effectively, based on our proprietary data and research.”

Other key findings for the home services industry reveal that speed and transparency are critical. More than 67% of respondents say they consult at least three review sources before making a decision, and 64% will only consider a provider with at least a four-star rating out of five. Meanwhile, 54% say they choose a provider within four hours of researching options. Affordability, dependability, and knowledgeability are the top qualities consumers seek in a home services provider. Legal consumers, on the other hand, seek tech-driven experiences such as digital document sharing, online billing, and portals.
