Loyalty Reads: Amazon Prime Adds Generic Prescription Perk, Martha Stewart Enters Metaverse with Oreo, and More

Amazon Prime Adds Generic Prescription Perk

Amazon is adding a new service for Prime members to order generic medications online. RxPass will allow members to access 50 medications to treat more than 80 conditions, including anxiety, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

The service will cost $5 a month per person and provide free delivery on the prescriptions. The new service builds on the online Pharmacy Amazon created after their acquisition of PillPack in 2018. RxPass is Amazon’s latest move to boost Prime subscriptions and improve interaction with its pharmacy services.

Martha Stewart Enters Metaverse with Oreo

Martha Stewart is partnering with Oreo to enter the Metaverse and market their latest limited-edition cookie, “The Most Oreo Oreo.” The cookie features Oreo crumbs inside the creme, which the brand describes as “meta,” naturally leading into the creation of the Oreoverse.

While the entrance to the Metaverse is aimed at Gen Z audiences, the partnership with Martha Stewart is to help attract older audiences. Consumers who engage with the experience have the opportunity to win from a variety of prizes, with a grand prize of $50,000.
