BIGGBY ® COFFEE recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. The company has grown from a single store in East Lansing, Michigan, to over 400 locations across 13 states. As the high-energy coffee company celebrates the past 30 years, it remains focused on sustainable growth and transparent business practices.

“We’ve navigated three different economic cycles, a financial crisis and COVID,” said Co-Founder and Co-CEO Bob Fish. “We’ve been nimble, perseverant and maintained our durability.” Co-Founder and Co-CEO Mike McFall agreed, stating, “Our company thrives because of the people who power it – our team members, franchise owners, customers, and vendor partners.”

BIGGBY ® COFFEE has maintained strong relations with its vendors, including their roaster who started processing 20,000 pounds of coffee in their first year, and grew to 2.6 million pounds today. The franchise system now has second-generation owners taking over and expanding their family networks into a multi-generational business.

BIGGBY ® COFFEE hopes to achieve 100% Farm-Direct sourcing by 2028. They’ve already achieved 50% for all coffee bought throughout the system last year, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to ethical practices.

“The BIGGBY ® experience is more than just about serving a great cup of coffee,” said McFall. “It’s about creating a legacy of enduring impact. We strongly believe that if you start with doing the right thing by your customers, employees and partners, profits will follow.”
