Panera announced its rollout of Amazon One as a loyalty identification and payment method. Panera will pilot the technology in select locations in St. Louis.
Amazon One brings innovative technology to the MyPanera rewards program. It will provide MyPanera members with fast payments — by simply scanning their palms — and customized meal recommendations from Panera associates.
“With one of the largest and most successful loyalty programs in the country, Panera wanted to make it even easier for its guests to access their rewards and have a more customized café experience,” says Dilip Kumar, Vice President AWS Applications. “We’re proud to collaborate with Panera on the rollout of Amazon One and elevate the guest experience.”
Panera is the first national restaurant to use Amazon One to allow customers to both access their loyalty accounts and pay for their orders.
