Lowe's Donating $1 Million To Tornado Devastation Across U.S.
Lowe's today announced that it will donate $1 million to support immediate relief and recovery efforts after tornadoes cut through Kentucky and the nation's heartland, causing catastrophic and unprecedented damage. The $1 million donation will assist Lowe's disaster relief partners including the American Red Cross and Lowe's nonprofit Pro customers, helping these organizations and others provide emergency shelter, critical relief supplies, food, blood center operations and comfort to those affected by the deadly tornadoes.

"It's heartbreaking to see the devastation this has caused for so many families and communities this close to the holidays," said Marvin Ellison, Lowe's chairman and CEO. "Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have lost their homes and loved ones, including members of the Lowe's family. We couldn't be more proud of the way our teams have already stepped up to help their neighbors."

Days Inns Canada today announced its collaboration with Journie Rewards for a sweepstakes designed to generate awareness and drive business to its hotels.

Casey's Steps In to Assist Tornado-Ravaged Communities
After a series of tornadoes ripped through several states in the Midwest and South — namely Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee — Casey's General Stores Inc. is taking action to help the communities in which it serves.

The Iowa-based convenience store operator is collecting donations for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief at the register via a round up campaign across all stores in these six states through Dec. 31. It will also donate $10,000 to the American Red Cross and is sending a truckload of water to impacted areas.
 
Raley’s Completes Purchase of the Bashas’ Company
Raley’s has announced the completion of the Bashas’ acquisition.  As previously shared, Raley’s had entered into a definitive agreement to purchase all the assets of the Bashas’ Company.  This transaction closed earlier this week. The Bashas’ Company will join a newly formed enterprise, The Raley’s Companies.

EVA Air and Points enter partnership to enhance Infinity MileageLands program
Award-winning, Taiwanese carrier, EVA Air, and Points have entered into a new multi-year collaboration to introduce a series of member benefits that will increase customer engagement and generate additional ancillary revenue streams for the carrier via the  Infinity MileageLands program.

The partnership began with the introduction of Purchase Miles, which leverages Points’ Buy solution and enables customers to get to their rewards sooner by buying additional miles at a preferential rate. A series of additional loyalty solutions designed to offer members even more utility and value when accruing miles will be introduced in 2022.
