Foot Locker Invests in Educational and Economic Opportunities in Black Community
Foot Locker commemorated the start of National Black Business Month with the release of its second annual progress report detailing its efforts to equip and empower the Black community globally.  

The company has funded nearly $54 million in investments and partnerships geared toward economic and educational opportunities in the Black community. This includes expanding programming to uplift Black students and employees and operationalizing the Company's approach to elevating and working with Black vendors, community non-profits, creators, and professional service partners. 

Hilton Launches Member’s-Only Spa Discount
Hilton Honors recently launched a members-only spa discount for its Silver, Gold and Diamond members at its all-inclusive resorts. Members who book an eligible stay at one of Hilton’s all-inclusive resorts can enjoy a 15% discount on one spa treatment per reservation.

The perk came in response to the company’s recent report that finds that wellness remains a top priority for travelers. The new all-inclusive spa discount allows elite members to access an array of amenities provided at Hilton’s spas at all-inclusive properties around the world.

Taco Bell to Raise $100 Million for Young Leaders
The Taco Bell Foundation is committing to raise $100 million by 2026 to continue supporting its nonprofit partners, scholars, and changemakers. For 30 years, the foundation has been championing young people, scholars, team members, and entrepreneurs who positively impact their surrounding communities.

The Taco Bell Foundation raises money through its work with franchisees and its popular Round Up program. The success is possible thanks to the Taco Bell Foundation's partners, the Live Más Scholars, Taco Bell team members and fans.

McDonald’s Names New Chief Information Officer
McDonald’s recently named Brian Rice its new global chief information officer as the company works to increase its efforts on technology. It believes that digital and delivery sales will be an increasingly important part of its business in the future. 

Rice will join McDonald’s global leadership team. He comes to the company from Cardinal Health, where he was the chief information officer with Global Business Services. He has also overseen technology teams with several other brands such as Kellogg Company, Mars and General Motors.
