Nestlé Professional, Wholesome Crave, and UMass Announce Partnership 

Nestlé Professional announced a partnership with Wholesome Crave and the University of Massachusetts Dining Program. The partnership will provide college and university foodservice providers with tips, recipes, workshops, and collaborations to help introduce sustainable, plant-based offerings to campus menus. 

Called The Purpose-Drive Plant-Based Incubator™, the program was developed as a collaboration between Nestlé, Chef Michel Nischan of Wholesome Crave, and the culinary team at UMass. So far, 12 other universities have decided to participate in the Incubator program. 

 

Google Tests ChatGPT Competitor 

Google is testing a new conversational AI service to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT program. The service is currently limited to testers, with the hope of a broad launch in the next few weeks. 

Google’s service is called Bard, and generates textual responses to users’ questions using information pulled from the internet. Bard comes with new uses of AI in its search engine to improve functionality. 

 

7-Eleven Delivers Free Pizza for the Super Bowl 

7-Eleven will give 7NOW app users a free large pizza to celebrate the Super Bowl. The deal is only available on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023. 

To get their pizza, 7-Eleven customers must use the convenience store’s delivery app 7NOW. All pizza flavors are available and the discount is automatically applied to delivery orders.
