American Eagle Launches Resale Service 

American Eagle Outfitters partnered with ThredUp to launch an apparel resale service. American Eagle teamed up with Snapchat for the launch with the platform’s first AR pop-up shop. 

The service — called RE/AE — features a gender-neutral selection of clothes and accessories ranging from $10-40. Customers can shop from ThredUp’s website or from the “preloved” tab on American Eagle’s website. 

 

Visa Announces Team Visa Athletes 

Visa announced the 33 female soccer players it will sponsor for the Team Visa Program. The group features athletes from 27 different markets, representing the largest number of female players in Team Visa history. 

Team Visa provides a platform for athletes around the globe to inspire others. The program provides financial support and literacy tools, mental health and wellness resources, and assistance with philanthropic endeavors. 

 

KFC Franchisee Launches Loyalty Program 

KBP Brands — a Kansas-based Yum Brands’ franchisee — is launching an SMS and mobile wallet digital marketing program. The program will be available at 847 KFC locations across the U.S. 

The loyalty program is powered by Vibes, a mobile messaging platform that works with brands like Chipotle, Lego, and Polo Ralph Lauren. The program offers real-time, targeted messaging, promotions, menu tests, and more.
