7-Eleven Trials Autonomous Shipping 

7-Eleven Inc. will test self-driving robot delivery for Los Angeles Customers. The convenience store partnered with Serve Robotics, a food tech startup backed by Uber. 

As part of the pilot, the autonomous service is only available in Los Angeles using the 7-Eleven delivery app 7NOW. Robot delivery will come with a fee of $2.99 and no driver tip option. 

 

Donatos Family Foundation Continues Habitat for Humanity Partnership 

Donatos announced it will continue its partnership with Habitat for Humanity International for a second year. The partnership falls under the Donatas Family Foundation as part of its three pillars: housing, hunger, and health. 

Now through April 30, 2023, Donatos pledged to raise $100,000 to be distributed among local Habitat affiliates. They will raise the money through encouraging customers to round up their payment on online orders.  Donatos will also donate $1 for every snickerdoodle cookie sold during the timeframe. 

 

Subway Launches Interactive Trivia Experience 

Subway will host a series of trivia games allowing fans to compete against some of the biggest names in football. Called the Subway Series Super Bowl LVII Showdown, the games will start on Feb. 9, 2023 at the Phoenix Convention Center. 

The event is part of its marketing campaign for Super Bowl catering and the launch of their new Subway Series line of sandwiches, where each sandwich is named after a moment in Super Bowl history. Trivia players have the opportunity to win autographed merchandise, Super Bowl tickets, or the Super Bowl LVII Subway Ring.
