MCLEAN, VA –March 25, 2010 – Embassy Suites Hotels was selected as the top brand in the Brand Keys Customer Loyalty Engagement Index study for the upscale hotel category in 2009. The upscale all-suites brand topped competitors in the category, confirming Embassy Suites’ ability to engage and create loyal customers.

The Brand Keys 2010 Customer Loyalty Engagement Index is an annual syndicated study that examines customers’ relationships with 518 brands in 71 product categories, identifying those brands best able to engage consumers and create loyal customers. The sample is made up of 50 percent men and 50 percent women ages 18 to 65, drawn from the nine U.S. Census regions. Respondents (with an even-age-spread representation) are screened according to category particulars and asked to assess the brand for which they are determined a “customer.”
