EDEN PRAIRIE, MN (August 05, 2009) - Connexions Loyalty Travel Solutions (CLTS) makes it even easier for its loyalty clients to redeem rewards. Online Reward eXchange originally launched in 2001 was the first comprehensive and flexible online travel redemption booking solution. Its’ latest version ORX 9.0 launched in mid-2008 has not only saved clients over $2 million to date this year, but it has also achieved over 93% customer satisfaction rating.

CLTS also pioneered redemption capabilities in this latest version of ORX for hotel, car, activities and dynamic packaging, which provide end users the ability to book complete vacation packages using their loyalty rewards. “ORX provides full service online reservation capabilities, supporting and going well beyond statement credits, by allowing online redemption with any combination of air, hotel, car, packages, activities and more,” said Norm Knowles, Vice President of Marketing, Client & Supplier Relations for Connexions.

CLTS has achieved over 100 unique ORX Web site implementations, providing clients with a flexible tool that supports multiple payment and redemption options, including ‘points’, ‘cash’ and ‘points + cash’ variable and fixed reward models.

Through configuration settings, both cost-per-point and cash conversion factors can be managed by the sponsoring client. “The flexibility of the ORX platform, including the breadth of tier options, provides our clients the ultimate in customization along with significant cost management,” added Knowles.

Clients have the ability to control the cost per point while the consumers control their redemption experience, which has been well received in the market. “ORX has allowed us to shift up to 65% of travel redemption online - a remarkable number considering the complexity of certain loyalty programs,” said Knowles. “This lift in online activity has enabled our clients to save millions of dollars in fulfillment cost in 2008 which is growing in 2009.”

ORX has moved the redemption of points for travel from a strictly agent-assisted process to an online self-service environment 24x7x365, “We are continuously developing new functionality and technology in ORX that makes the online experience user-friendly and engaging” said Knowles. “The latest ORX release included an enhancement to the ‘Points Choice’ slider bar which enables more configuration options, as well as inclusion of incremental dynamic shopping filters to improve the experience.”

ORX supports the latest browsers including Firefox, Chrome, Opera and IE 8, and facilitates a growing number of transactions by iPhone.
