Boston Pizza Serves Up New Customer Loyalty Program with Paytronix

Paytronix Rewards, a loyalty, gift, comp and email platform, will serve as the foundation for its Boston Pizza MyBP program. The Paytronix REST integration will drive customer and brand loyalty even further by allowing Boston Pizza to incorporate mobile apps and social media experiences into its loyalty program.

Boston Pizza is Canada’s largest casual dining chain and its new customer loyalty program will target about 40 million guests who visit its 350 restaurants each year. The program will focus on food, service, the restaurant experience and connection to the community.

The chain chose to partner with Paytronix because of its proven integration with two systems essential to the restaurant business: the POSitouch and the ONOSYS online ordering system.

“Paytronix is a big part of Boson Pizza’s initiative to rebuild and refocus its loyalty program around food service and the customer experience,” Alexander Green, vice president of marketing for Boston Pizza, said in a release. “With its proven POSitouch integration, mobile and messaging capabilities, Paytronix helps us get a single view of the guest across all touch points and then link that to both online and in-restaurant transactions.”

The Boston Pizza MyBP program will drive enrollment through email promotions and personalize the guest experience by using the Paytronix platform to acquire more guest data. The goal is to leverage guest visibility, insights, and communications to create better customer experiences.

And the Paytronix integration also gives Boston Pizza the ability to measure guest lifetime value. A unique guest identifier for each transaction captures metrics on reach, spend, and value of each loyalty program member.

“Boston Pizza’s selection of Paytronix as the engine for its MyBP infrastructure is a great endorsement of our strong technical foundation, proven POS integration and significant mobile and messaging capabilities,” Saad Khalid, product manager of Paytronix, added. “Paytronix is enabling Boston Pizza to create a better guest experience that, in turn, reinforces its position as Canada’s leading casual dining restaurant chain.”
