BC Partners to split up PetSmart and Chewy
A group led by private equity firm BC Partners is splitting PetSmart Inc. and Chewy Inc., Bloomberg News reported.

The group intends to recapitalize PetSmart, a specialty retailer of pet products, with $1.3 billion of equity and $4.65 billion of debt raised from institutional managers, according to credit grading firms and documents released to investors.

The group, which will take over PetSmart's remaining shares in Chewy, will operate the online pet supplies retailer as a separate business, the report said.
 
Wyndham Honors Military Members With Savings, Reward Point Match
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced special savings on upcoming stays and matching Wyndham Rewards point donations to its preferred military non-profit partners.

Through December 8, military members and their families can save up to 15 percent off the best available rate on stays at participating hotels, plus 500 bonus reward points. Wyndham will also match all reward point donations, up to one million points.

In addition, each military non-profit partner will have point donations matched during the promotional period, up to 250,000 points
 
Choice Privileges Loyalty Program Members and Barclays Contribute $330,000
Choice Hotels International says that members of its award-winning Choice Privileges loyalty program with Barclays US Consumer Bank have provided more than $330,000 in support of the American Red Cross disaster relief efforts. Through the generosity of loyalty program members and matching from Barclays, the American Red Cross is able to support the immediate needs of individuals, families and communities affected by the pandemic as well as record-breaking natural disasters.

Choice Privileges members have been contributing points to this cause since March and Barclays stepped in to double the impact by matching donated loyalty points. The donation has provided the resources to help fund blood drives and personal protective equipment kits to healthcare workers on the front lines and ensure that disaster-affected communities never face recovery alone.

Barclays Enters Multi-Year Relationship Agreement with AARP
Barclays US Consumer Bank, a leading issuer of custom co-branded credit card programs and AARP have entered into a multi-year agreement to provide a suite of credit cards to AARP members in the United States. Barclays is scheduled to launch the co-branded credit cards in the spring of 2021.

Wawa Continues as Official Hoagie of the Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles and Wawa announced a new multi-year agreement, continuing Wawa’s status as the “Official Hoagie of the Philadelphia Eagles” for five more seasons.

As part of the deal, Wawa and the Eagles will team up on season-long promotions to bring unique experiences to fans, including special Eagles wrap on Wawa hoagies during football season.
