REI Launches Co-Op Studios to Produce Original Content and Entertainment
REI announced the launch of Co-Op Studios, the retailer's new in-house content arm. Across films, podcasts and editorial programs, the studio develops and produces stories that entertain, enrich and explore the power of time spent outside, while complementing the co-op's broader climate and racial equity, diversity and inclusion commitments.

As part of the co-op's ongoing commitment to racial equity and climate action, the studio will prioritize storytelling from people and communities that are Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ, women, and any other historically underrepresented groups as well as stories that reflect the human impact and opportunity to protect the environment.
 
Subway’s New Tech Chief Eyes Mobile Customer Experience
The Wall Street Journal reports that Subway is looking to rewire its mobile-ordering technology and processes to improve customer experience amid a surge of digital sales, its new technology chief said.

The restaurant chain tapped Donagh Herlihy as its global chief digital and information officer earlier this month, a role that entails overseeing internal and external-facing information-technology systems.

Instacart announced the expansion of its collaboration with 7-Eleven, the world's largest convenience retailer, to nearly 4,000 new stores nationwide. With this expansion, Instacart now delivers from nearly 6,000 7-Eleven® stores, reaching nearly 60 million U.S. households across the country.

To make it easier for customers to instantly connect to their favorite convenience retailer and get the goods they need, customers also now have access to 7-Eleven delivery via Instacart in as fast as 30 minutes. Today, consumers nationwide can choose from thousands of essential products from 7-Eleven - including pantry staples, household items, alcohol, snacks, over-the-counter medication, and more - to be delivered from the store to their door.
 
Pet Wellness Partner Brings Fresh Options To Pet Parents Via Same-Day Delivery
Petco Health and Wellness Company, Inc. announced the expansion of its successful same-day delivery of fresh pet food, now available in most markets nationwide. The expansion builds on last year's same-day delivery service launch accessible through petco.com and the Petco app.

On the heels of a successful same-day pilot, Petco is expanding same-day delivery for its entire assortment of fresh and frozen dog and cat food, starting with JustFoodForDogs, whose availability is planned to triple to 560 pet care centers in 2021.
 
McDonald's x BTS Menu Collab is Officially Here
BTS Meal arrives at McDonald's, as the band's signature order – featuring a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium World Famous Fries, medium Coke, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by recipes from McDonald's South Korea – is now available at participating U.S. restaurants nationwide.
