IHOP Announces Largest Menu Evolution To-Date 

IHOP is adding a new lineup of items to the menu in the largest change in the brand’s history. The menu will feature new items across every meal time and in between. 

Major changes to the menu include new: 

  • Eggs benedicts 

  • Sweet & savory crepes 

  • Cinn-A-Stack 

  • Steakburgers 

  • Fish and shrimp 

  • Salads 

  • Beverages 

 

Uber Eats Delivers Concessions to Seats in Yankee Stadium 

Uber Eats will offer in seat delivery at Yankee Stadium, currently the only location where the in-seat service is available. Uber Eats users scan a QR code, select concessions, and input their seat and row numbers at checkout. 

For users of the new service, orders are prepared and delivered by venue concessionaires and stadium staff. Uber Eats currently offers mobile pickup at other stadiums and event venues, working within the venues’ digital operations to allow guests to order concessions without standing in line. 

 

Southeastern Grocers Partners with Relocalize on Autonomous Hyper-local Micro-factory 

Southeastern Grocers announced a partnership with Relocalize to launch the world’s first autonomous micro-factory at the grocer’s Jacksonville Distribution Center. The partnership will innovate ice manufacturing and help reduce emissions through eliminating middle-mile logistics. 

The micro-factory will be completely managed by an AI-powered software platform and use robotics for 100% of its production labor. As a result of the partnership, Southeastern Grocers launched Party Cubes, the first hyper-local, certified plastic-negative, packaged ice, produced on-site at the new factory.
