Chick-fil-A Expands Little Blue Menu 

Little Blue Kitchen, Chick-fil-A’s virtual restaurant space, will expand from Nashville, TN to College Park, Maryland. In addition to delivering Chick-fil-A, Little Blue Kitchen offers Outfox Wings and Because, Burger. 

After the success of the Nashville launch in late 2021, Little Blue Kitchen hopes to continue expanding both its menu offerings and locations. Currently, Little Blue Kitchen is headquartered at Chick-fil-A’s first delivery-only facility in Nashville. 

 

Nothing Bundt Cakes® Appoints New Chief Development Officer 

Nothing Bundt Cakes® names Chris Tarrant its new Chief Development Officer as it continues to build its senior leadership. Tarrant joins the bakery chain from his position as Senior Vice President of Retail Store Development and Design at Starbucks. 

Tarrant will oversee the strategic growth and development of the franchise system. The appointment comes as Nothing Bundt Cakes continues to grow exponentially throughout the U.S. and Canada. 

 

Walmart Raises Starting Hourly Wages 

Walmart Inc. will raise wages for its U.S. hourly workers to help front-line staff during tight market conditions. Raising starting wage from $12 to $14 an hour, Walmart hopes to compete with similar retailers like Amazon and Target. 

With several states working to raise minimum wage, Walmart hopes to keep their starting wage well above minimums in order to attract workers. Along with the starting rates change, the retailer will also add regular annual pay increases.
