Booking.com has introduced the Genius Rewards Visa Signature® Credit Card, developed in partnership with Imprint, a modern credit card platform. The card is designed to turn everyday purchases into travel opportunities, offering flexible, easy-to-use rewards with no annual fee. Unlike many traditional travel cards that rely on complex point systems or restrict users to specific airlines or hotels, the Genius Rewards card offers straightforward Booking.com Travel Credits. One dollar earned equals one dollar to spend on Booking.com, covering everything from accommodations to car rentals, flights, and local experiences, all without blackout dates or redemption minimums.
Survey data underscores just how valuable Americans consider travel. Over 50% of credit card holders would be willing to give up alcohol for a year to travel for free. Meanwhile, an overwhelming 97% said they’d delete at least one social media account for a year of free accommodations. In addition, 82% of American credit cardholders say their credit card rewards are so important, they check them more than they do their retirement accounts. These findings reflect a deep desire for meaningful rewards, which Booking.com aims to meet through a card that delivers real, accessible travel benefits and complete flexibility in how rewards are earned and used.
Booking.com Managing Director, U.S., Ben Harrell, said, “In a world where 81% of cardholders expect brands to enhance their travel experiences, we saw an opportunity to raise the bar. Today’s travelers want flexibility and transparency in how they earn and redeem rewards, and they want it all in one place. This card is about making it easier to access and utilize incredible travel benefits, without having to pay hundreds of dollars a year to do so like other cards, and reflects our broader commitment to removing friction from travel and unlocking more possibilities for American cardholders to be rewarded for their loyalty.”
Genius Rewards cardholders can earn up to 6% back in Travel Credits booked through the app, with additional rewards ranging from 3% to 5% back on travel-related and everyday purchases like gas, groceries, and dining. New users receive a $150 bonus after spending $1,500 in the first 90 days and a $100 annual bonus for spending $15,000 or more. The card also comes with instant Genius Level 3 status, the highest loyalty tier on Booking.com, offering perks like up to 20% off stays, up to 15% off car rentals, free breakfasts, room upgrades, and premium customer support, all with no foreign transaction fees.
