President Obama’s recent State of the Union address laid out an ambitious plan to build upon America’s “growing economy, shrinking deficits, bustling industry, and booming energy production.” Strengthening the nation’s infrastructure is also on the President’s agenda and reaches far beyond the scope of the Keystone XL Oil Pipeline to cover things like modern ports, faster trains, and affordable broadband Internet.
