Canadians would buy more from brands if they were presented with promotional offers on their smartphones while out shopping, according to a new report conducted by SAS/Leger.

According to the report, 38% of Canadians surveyed indicated they would buy both an item they were purchasing and a complementary product if they received a promotion on their smartphone. What’s more, 58% would be interested in receiving personalized promotions from nearby stores while out shopping.
