Having the opportunity to interview J.D. Power was quite compelling. Having been somewhat familiar with him and the awards that bear his name, I knew there was more than likely a great story behind the brand and, more importantly, the man. Yet my familiarity with the name was solely on the basis of J.D. Power as a brand; the sublime power of the name, the award and, therefore, the man was truly not understood.
