The Loyalty360 team has a special enthusiasm for niche brands, the ones that offer a particular service to a particular audience. It was a pleasure for us, then, to learn all about Bavarian Inn and how it has offered a special hospitality to the locals and travelers of Michigan. As the brand’s name suggests, the property emulates southern Germany (or Südeutschland, if you really want to get in the spirit).
 
The brand’s aesthetic and history have cultivated significant emotional loyalty. To learn about that and how a place that seems removed from time continues to thrive in the tech-driven world of modern loyalty, we spoke with Jim Engel, Bavarian Inn’s Chief Operating Officer. He did a great job of explaining the brand’s history, and perhaps more importantly, how that history builds a lasting connection with new guest’s each year.
