“We embarked on a journey to rebrand our stores and our culture about three years ago,” says Klaus WernerSenior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Alex Lee Inc., owners of the Carolina-based grocery chain Lowe’s Foods. “It consisted of three elements. One was remodeling and modernizing the stores. Number two was introducing a variety of new concepts, things that differentiate us from other grocers that you can only get at Lowes Foods.”
