Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries started in 1991 as Andy’s Cheesesteaks and Cheeseburgers in Goldsboro, North Carolina’s Berkley Mall. From these humble beginnings, it has grown into a chain of over of 170 mostly franchised locations after adopting its new name in 2012. Once confined to Eastern North Carolina, Hwy 55 locations can now be found in such far-flung places as the U.A.E. and Denmark.
