When Perk Perkins was 22 years old and a newly minted graduate from Williams College, he and his roommate, Will Parish, came up with a “grand plan.” Rather than get a job and begin dealing with all of the hassles that come with being an adult, they would toss their fly rods in the back of Will’s red Jeep and circumnavigate the world—stopping to fish along the way, of course.
So they did. They pointed the Jeep south and kept driving until they got to Tierra....
