Tim Hortons Launches Annual Charitable Campaign
Tim Hortons announced this year’s annual Smile Cookie charitable campaign. The week-long campaign donates 100% of purchases from each Smile Cookie to local charities. To participate, customers can visit their local Tim Hortons restaurant or place a digital order through the Tim Hortons app and/or website.
The Smile Cookie campaign began in 1996 to help raise funds for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital in Ontario and has grown to become a major fundraising event. Guests can also show how they are supporting the annual campaign by using the #SmileCookie hashtag on social media.
Gong’s Market First to Accept Online SNAP EBT Payments
Gong’s Market has become the first single-store independent grocery in California to be able to process SNAP EBT payments online as approved by the USDA. SNAP EBT payments are processed by Grocerist, an e-commerce platform built on Shopify.
The Grocerist solution is now an approved path to meeting the USDA requirements for any grocer aiming to accept SNAP payments online. Its solution gives each grocer their own e-commerce website, plus tools and services for digital marketing and social media commerce.
Sam’s Club Partners with Pacvue
Pacvue announced a partnership and first-to-market API integration with Sam’s Club Members Access Platform (Sam’s Club MAP). Through this partnership, Sam’s Club MAP Advertisers will have access to search and sponsored product ads via Pacvue, enabling brands to better reach and engage with Sam’s Club members.
