Panera Rolls Out Grocery Rewards Program, Expanding Loyalty Benefits

Panera Bread is expanding its range of rewards and perks by introducing a grocery rewards program that will be available until the fall. As part of this program, Panera is giving customers a $5 gift card to use in their stores when they purchase $20 worth of Panera CPG products from participating grocery stores such as Kroger, Publix, and Walmart.

The main goal of this program, according to Panera, is to raise awareness about their Panera at Home retail products, which consist of pre-packaged soups, bowls, dressing, and breads. Additionally, the brand is aiming to establish a strong connection between individuals who shop for Panera products at grocery stores and those who dine at Panera locations.

Amazon and Staples Partner to Focus on Customer Convenience

Staples has announced that starting from July 31, 2023, all of its U.S. Retail stores will accept returns from Amazon customers without requiring labels or boxes. This initiative allows eligible Amazon items, which are unpackaged and unlabeled, to be conveniently dropped off at the full-service shipping area within Staples locations nationwide. Upon completing the return process, customers will receive a coupon offering special savings, which can be utilized on a diverse range of products and services available in-store on the same day.

“Staples is excited to provide Amazon customers with an easy and convenient physical location to drop off returns,” said Craig Grayson, SVP, Services, Staples US Retail. “While many Americans know Staples for back-to-school shopping, our suite of in store services continues to expand. We look forward to offering a fast and convenient return experience while showcasing our evolution to Amazon customers.”

“We’re thrilled to offer nearly 1,000 additional drop-off locations in the U.S. for Amazon customer returns in collaboration with Staples,” said Gopal Pillai, Vice President of Worldwide Returns & Recommerce at Amazon. “Our goal is to make buying online as easy as possible, and we know that some items don’t always work out as planned, which is why we work hard to continue to raise the bar in offering a hassle-free returns experience to our customers.”
