Shake Shack and Bounteous Win Webby for Best Food & Drink App
Bounteous announced that alongside Shake Shack, it has been named the Best Food & Drink App in the 26th Annual Webby Awards Internet Celebration. Webby winners are selected by a panel of jurors for recognition based on “overall experience,” as well as excellence in the digital areas such as Websites, Apps, Mobile, Social, Podcasts, Games and Virtual & Remote.

“Bounteous and Shake Shack have set the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said Claire Graves, Executive Director of The Webby Awards. 

Spotify Tests NFTs as Added Customer Experience
Spotify streaming service is testing a feature that will let artists promote their NFTs. The test is currently running for ‘select’ users of Spotify’s Android app in the US, who will be able to preview NFTs on the artists’ profile pages. They will then be able to tap through to view and buy them from external marketplaces.

“We routinely conduct a number of tests in an effort to improve artist and fan experiences,” a Spotify spokesperson said. The data will help it decide whether to roll this out as a full feature for all artists, but it will also clearly inform whether Spotify decides to do anything more ambitious (and on-platform) with NFTs in the future.
 
MOD Pizza Partners with Best Buddies for Charitable Donations
MOD Pizza recently added a MOD Value(s) Menu to support non-profits and partner with like-minded organizations to better their communities. MOD’s first partnership is with Best Buddies International, an organization dedicated to helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

MOD plans to donate $500,000 to Best Buddies through items purchased from the MOD Value(s) Menu. In addition to the value meal, guests can add a “Side of MODness” to any order to make a donation to Best Buddies.
