Shake Shack Offers Affordable Luxury 

As consumers trade down their restaurant experiences, Shake Shack has experienced an increase in customer traffic. The fast-casual restaurant chain offers luxury products at more affordable prices than other casual-dining chains. 

Shake Shack saw sales grow by 5.1% in Q4 of 2022, coming from customers looking for the chain’s luxury offerings. In response to the growth, Shake Shack is promoting its truffle burgers, hoping to increase traffic from restaurant-goers looking to trade down. 

 

YETI Names New CFO 

YETI Holdings, Inc. named Mike McMullen as its new Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer after he served as the interim CFO since October 2022. McMullen previously served as Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Vice President of Finance since his start with the company in 2016. 

YETI hopes McMullen will continue to grow the brand, drive innovation, and maximize long-term value for shareholders. McMullen brings 20+ years of financial planning and analysis, treasury management, and strategic and demand planning experience across omnichannel tech and consumer products companies. 

 

Tractor Supply Supplies Grants for Youth in Agriculture 

Tractor Supply will provide grants for middle and high school FFA students and projects. In its 8th annual Grants for Growing, Tractor Supply will raise funds through selling paper emblems in-store, online, and in-app. 

The fundraiser supports 151 chapters of the FFA, with grants up to $5,000 for projects. Since 2016, Tractor Supply has raised $1,129,653 for youth-led agriculture projects.
