American Airlines Becomes Official Airline for Texas Rangers

Fort-Worth-based airline carrier American Airlines has scored a multiyear deal with the Texas Rangers as the reigning World Champions’ official airline. The exclusive partnership includes sponsorship and marketing benefits.

AA Advantage members who are fans of the popular baseball team will receive exclusive perks such as player meet-and-greets, airline-branded field-level first base lounge seats, and chances to throw the first pitch at games.

Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of American Airlines, Ron DeFeo, said, “This partnership is a home run for both American and baseball fans. Just as our airline connects people and places, we look forward to connecting fans with the excitement of baseball and unforgettable moments, especially for our AAdvantage members. It’s a celebration of teamwork, passion, and the thrill of the game.”

American Airlines has previously partnered with the Texas Rangers for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Stand Up to Cancer cause, the Medal of Honor Museum, Faces of Freedom, Seats for Heroes, and other organizations.

Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for the Texas Rangers, Jim Cochrane, said, “American has been a great partner of the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation since 2022, working closely with our team to provide meaningful opportunities to deserving recipients. With our new multiyear agreement, American will be known as the Rangers’ Official and Exclusive Airline and Airline Rewards Program, allowing our organizations to partner on more fan-oriented initiatives like an exclusive rewards program that will give AAdvantage members access to once-in-a-lifetime experiences and the American Lounge, which offers an unmatched viewing experience at Globe Life Field.”
