This weekend I did two things that I, and many others, do on a highly routinized basis – I went out for coffee and bought groceries. To quote William James, “All of our life, so far as it has definite form, is but a mass of habits.” As I was enjoying my beverage it struck me: “Not only are consumers creatures of habit, but marketers too!”
