Lowe’s Canada Set to Launch AIR MILES Loyalty Program

Lowe's Loyalty ProgramThe customer is always at the heart of Lowe’s Canada’s strategic approach and, with that in mind, the company plans to partner with LoyaltyOne Co., owner and operator of the AIR MILES® Reward Program, and launch the loyalty program on Dec. 1, 2015.

“We recently announced that we’re opening 14 new Lowe’s stores in Canada,” Katie Wagar, Corporate Communications Specialist, Lowe’s Companies Canada, told Loyalty360. “As we continue to grow, we’re looking for ways to add value for our customers and enhance their overall shopping experience.”

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is a FORTUNE 50 home improvement company with fiscal year 2014 sales of $56.2 billion. The company serves about 16 million customers a week in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico through its stores and online. 

In Canada, Lowe’s opened its first stores in December 2007 now operates in Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. In July 2015, Lowe’s Canada announced that it would expand its presence in the provinces in which it currently has stores by opening an additional 14 new locations. Canadian customers will be able to earn AIR MILES reward miles at all Canadian Lowe’s retail locations and for purchases online at lowes.ca.Lowe's Shopping Experience

“The growth of coalition Partners is fundamental to the strength of the AIR MILES Reward Program and the value it provides our over 10 million active Collectors,” said Blair Cameron, Senior Vice President Client Services and Retail, AIR MILES Reward Program. “Our partnership with Lowe’s Canada will allow for even more Canadians to engage in the Program and get rewarded for investing in home improvement projects.”

Wagar added that Lowe’s Canada hopes that the new loyalty program will add value for customers as they shop for their home improvement needs, while allowing more Canadians to engage with the AIR MILES Reward Program in store or online at: Lowes.ca.

“At Lowe’s, the needs of consumers are always top of mind,” Wagar explained. “This program gives our customers one more reason to continue shopping with us.”
