Companies Increasing Employee Wellness Benefits

Employers are increasing the wellness benefits offered to their employees, according to Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The “SHRM 2012 Employee Benefits Research Report” found an overall increase in both the number of employers providing health and lifestyle coaching along with rewards for employees who have completed a health and wellness program.

According to the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, employers who invest in worksite wellness programs can see an ROI of $3-$6 for every dollar invested over a 2-5 year period.
