San Francisco 49ers Score Big at Loyalty360 Awards

The San Francisco 49ers organization has garnered considerable hardware during its illustrious history, being the first NFL franchise to win five Super Bowls (which occurred in January 1995), but on Wednesday at the 9th Annual Loyalty Expo, presented by Loyalty360 – The Association for Customer Loyalty, it earned more enviable laurels at the 3rd annual Loyalty360 Awards ceremony.

The San Francisco 49ers walked off with the most prestigious honor−the Platinum Award in the comprehensive 360-Degree category.

“Thanks to the 49ers, from the top down, they inspired us to try and, eventually, you become successful,” Tori Willis, Marketing Coordinator for the 49ers, told attendees.

The 49ers launched its voluntary loyalty program, Faithful 49 presented by Esurance, in June 2014. Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, which hosted this year’s Super Bowl 50. The stadium boasts some of the most advanced technology found in any sporting venue, which has helped the loyalty program. Content for the program is on both the team app and the Levi’s Stadium app.
 
This dual-app approach has served to bolster Faithful 49, giving fans the chance to earn points – referred to as “yards” in the program – for a variety of 49ers-related activities.  Buying tickets, attending games, purchasing merchandise, and reading content all earn yards that can be redeemed for rewards.
  
“We try to stay top of mind throughout the year,” Willis added.

Besides the estimable 360-Degree Award, the 49ers earned the Gold Award in the Customer Experience & Engagement category; and the Silver Award in the Technology & Trends category.
